NacelleNacelle

Seven years on Shopify, chasing one question.

What can technology do to make a store convert better? Delta is our current answer.

Where this came from.

2019

The question

What can technology do to make a store convert better? Nacelle started as one engineer's answer, built after years running a Shopify Plus agency.

Then

Speed

We built infrastructure that made Shopify storefronts dramatically faster. It worked for some very large brands, and a few still run on it today.

What we learned

Speed has a ceiling

The harder problem was never how fast a store loads. It is that the store treats every shopper as exactly the same person, whatever brought them.

Now

The same question, better tools

A brand can prove what makes a customer buy, in an ad account, then send all of it to a page that ignores it. Delta is that question asked again.

What we believe.

The shopper already told you

Every click on an ad is expensive signal. Someone interrupted a scroll they were enjoying and left the app entirely to arrive. You do not have to guess what they want, because they chose it.

Prove it or do not charge for it

Most ecommerce software bills on revenue it was merely near. We hold back a control group, measure what we actually caused, and bill on the conservative end of that figure.

Add, never replace

We have watched a lot of software break stores. Delta installs alongside your theme, changes nothing structurally, and can be set back to zero instantly. Your store stays yours.

Nacelle is a small team of engineers and operators who have been in this ecosystem for years. Small is deliberate. It is why the product moves quickly, and why you talk to the people who built it.

Winning with AI Personalization book cover

Brian Anderson

Brian founded Nacelle in 2019 after running a Shopify Plus agency. He is an engineer who has spent his career on the technical side of ecommerce.

He is also the author of Winning with AI Personalization: The Privacy-First Playbook for E-Commerce Growth (Entrepreneur Books, 2026). The book argues that brands keep aiming one-to-one retention tactics at anonymous acquisition traffic, and that personalization should scale to how much you actually know about a visitor. Delta is that argument built.
